ABOUT
You Want Peace. You Want Connection. You Want to Feel Like Yourself Again.
You're not looking for another stiff, clinical therapist.
You want someone you can talk to — really talk to — like you would with a trusted friend who doesn’t judge.
You want help, but not from someone who talks down to you or throws jargon in your face. You’re looking for someone who gets it — not just because they studied it, but because they’ve lived it.
That’s what I offer. My name is Eric Herpin, and I’m a counselor providing online therapy throughout Louisiana. I specialize in working with men, women and couples who are navigating depression, relationship struggles, and addiction — especially sexual addiction. I have over 20 years of experience in Mental/Behavioral Health and Addiction. I am a graduate of University of Louisiana-Monroe with a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. My mission as a therapist/counselor is to assist you with achieving your maximum potential by elevating your inner strengths.
Behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges can be very overwhelming, but do not have to define your life. Together, we can work though the challenges to elevate your life to its full potential. I will provide you support in a safe, confidential, and respectful way. I offer a caring ear and a place to regroup for a fresh start.
I use research-proven methods to help people with addiction, depression, communication, and relationship issues through the use of therapeutic interventions tailored specifically to help you gain the skills and confidence needed to deal with the daily challenges of life. I offer telehealth sessions that allow us to meet virtually, at times that work best for you. If you are serious about making a change, then take the next step and make your first appointment.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
You Set the Pace — I’ll Keep You Moving Forward
Some days you might just need to get something off your chest.
Other days you may want to look at the past and figure out how things went sideways.
And some days, you need a direct plan and a little nudge to get unstuck.
I work flexibly because I know healing doesn’t come in a one-size-fits-all format.
I stay focused on the big picture — your progress — while giving you the space to lead each session based on where you’re at today.
You’re Not Alone — I Know the Terrain
I’ve walked through a lot of what my clients are facing:
Depression has been with me since I was 13. I know how heavy, isolating, and hopeless it can feel.
I’ve done over two years of couples therapy myself — with two different partners. I know how vulnerable and frustrating it can feel, and I’ve seen what works (and what doesn’t).
I’ve dealt with addictions, and I understand how it can be a seemingly harmless thing that turns on you.
While I’ve never personally struggled with porn or sexual addiction, I’ve helped many men, women, and couples overcome it — not just the behavior, but the pain and disconnection underneath it. I understand addiction from many perspectives. My experience as an individual and couple’s counselor has been an effective set of skills in this area.
Most people I work with say things like:
“You actually listen.”
“You don’t act like you’re better than me.”
“You’ve lived some of this, haven’t you?”
That’s because I have.
I’ve also learned from hundreds of stories — not just in textbooks, but from real clients with real struggles.
In 2023, I helped eight couples break free from porn and sexual addictions and move forward in their relationships.
I’ve also helped several clients come back from suicide attempts and severe depression to lead happy, connected, productive lives in less than a year.
Why My Practice is Called Entre Nous
When I was a kid I asked my dad what the French words “Entre Nous” meant on a restaurant sign. He leaned over and said,
“It means between us… like a secret. Something personal.”
That stuck with me.
To this day, Entre Nous represents everything I believe therapy should be:
Personal
Safe
Private
A space for trust, healing, and honest connection
